Folks reported strange things in a New York town in 1945, right after the government announced an experiment adding tiny amounts of fluoride to the municipal drinking water.
“Dozens of Newburgh residents called the water department to complain that the water was discoloring their saucepans, hurting the flavor of carbonated beverages and causing digestive upsets,” the Washington Evening Star reported on Feb. 22, 1951.

if you are self hosting go to your home page and add it there otherwise you have to hope peerchan admin adds it to his gateway
The most recent version of the peerchan client has the ability to mass select posts from either the index or the catalog. This allows you to delete hundreds of posts at once, so if there are hundreds of spam posts, hopefully you can now delete them easily. And if there are some posts you want to keep amidst the spam, you can select the 100 posts before the post-to-keep, then the 100 spam posts after the post-to-keep, with just a few clicks, and you don't need to manually click each post.
The most recent version of the peerchan client has some expanded functionality relating to pruning. You can now prune "all but the most recently bumped N threads" so this is a way you can more easily control the size of your local database. Having it manual for now also avoids the issue of wiping a board via spam. Doing this also subsequently prunes any orphaned posts or files on each of the boards it's applied to.
A bunch of missing threads from before when the previous host shut down the peerchan.net gateway server seem to be syncing and reappearing. This is most pleasing.
nice to see peerpan back, lambda I and II has been dead at the moment.
24/7 orbs seems to be rarity here

1.5 should be enough now after the recent update.
you can host the site part anonymously by using a tor hidden service (like how used to be the case before i migrated hosts; there was also an onion address) however the client communicates on two ports:
one port for the webserver/pageserver aspect (default 8000)
another port for the peerbit node which does the p2p communication. this uses lipp2p so doesn't have native support for tor currently, so it will communicate on the clearnet, however one workaround users have found is to host the whole thing inside a whonix setup, that way traffic on both ports will pass trhough tor.
A new version of the peerchan client has been released. This version stores the index and operations log on disk instead of in-memory, greatly reducing memory usage, and uses the latest version of Peerbit. If you want to migrate content from earlier versions to the new version, 0.0.2, see the steps in this screenshot or at the link below:

If you encounter any issues with the current version feel free to post them in this thread.
